Basic 8 Week Course Curriculum: Spanish that Works in the Library (special edition of the basic course for librarians & library staff)
One-time Training: Library Intro Workshop (for one-time or large group library workshops--consists of selected reference sheets taken from the complete course)
Spanish that Works in the Library-Group Training Version (reproducible)
The Library Course Kit for group trainings includes: Master Copy of Student Text and Supplemental Section in pdf format on a password-protected data CD; hardcopies of the Reference Sheets, Sentence Builders, and Flashcards; a Teacher’s Guide and Teacher Orientation Video; and a Master Copy of the Audio CD, which is reproducible under separate license agreement.
The course includes a license to make a set number of the text materials for student and teacher use for one library, plus up to one hour of teacher support. The license also gives you the right to make additional copies for a set fee that is lower than the initial per-student cost. Extra "shareware" materials, such as the Library Phrase Lists from the Teton County Library and a Flashcard Template are also offered on the data CD as an addition to the Library Course Kit, and may be freely reproduced.
OPTIONAL: You may purchase additional Spanish that Works in the Library audio CD's at $10 per CD, or purchase a license to copy the CD at $5 per copy. You may also purchase the Bee Bilingual! community TV program videos (set of 4), which follow the basic outline of the course. Libraries using the reproducible kit may copy the videos and show them at staff trainings.

The teacher orientation is available on video as part of your course kit.
Orientation to the materials is an important part of the success of the program.A more in-depth teacher training (optional) includes completing a brief biographical
sketch, viewing the teacher training video & reading through the teacher's guide and
course materials, filling out a questionnaire form, and doing a follow-up conference call
with The Learning Light. The call takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, and you
may have 1-3 teachers trained during the call. Support is also available to your instructors
via telephone and email as the course is in progress.This basic teacher orientation is included as part of the group pricing package.
Additional phone conference time may be arranged for $75 per hour.Library Course Orders
